A violin can be the first thing a newcomer notices about LUCY. But treating it as a decorative extra misses the more interesting question: what happens when the violinist is part of the band making the music, rather than a guest brought in for one impressive moment?

LUCY's September 2024 HelloKpop interview introduced Shin Yechan on violin, Choi Sangyeop on vocals, Cho Wonsang on bass and Shin Gwangil on drums. The interview gives the musicians room to describe their contributions to the EP FROM. It is a useful starting document for an English-speaking listener, not a current concert announcement.

FROM. belongs to 2024. For a newer point of entry, the band's US Apple Music artist page lists Childish, released April 29, 2026, with fifteen songs. The two releases should not be collapsed into the same comeback simply because both appear in recent search results.

That gives a newcomer a choice: begin with the older recording discussed directly by the musicians, or start with the newer album and return to the interview as background. Neither route requires you to work through every release before enjoying one song.

The Weverse piece was written around the June 2026 festival. Its forward-looking event language is historical by September; it should not be read as an invitation to an upcoming show. For any future performance, use a separately verified venue and ticket announcement.
